Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful security company who specialise in Security / Access Control Systems to some of the UK's largest Utility companies across the UK, to join as an ambitious Lead Engineer and help to develop the business during an exciting phase of growth
This is a field based, UK wide role, so it is imperative that you are happy to travel /work away from home and hold a clean, full drivers licence.

-City & Guilds 18th Edition - Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installation (BS7671 2008).
Role & Responsibilities:
-For monitoring daily work activities and reporting progress and issues of concern to the Site Manager.
-For ensuring that company management systems and processes are adhered to.
-Ensure that all works are installed and executed in accordance with the contract documents.
-Ensuring that all Risk Assessments and Method Statements are submitted to the client in time for all programmed activity.
-Ensure all appropriate permits are in place prior to any activity taking place.
-To be proactively involved in supporting the Technology Projects Supervisor throughout the duration of the project.
-To maintain an accurately detailed daily site diary of site conditions, progress and the resources available to undertake the work activities throughout the construction phase.
-To aid the early identification and notification of contract variances, including extra costs, and adequately reporting such issues to the Technology Projects Supervisor.
-For maintaining Quality Control and Test Inspection documents for the project.
-Reporting to Site Manager to ensure that works are carried out only when prevailing conditions are suitable and that site conditions are appropriate and will not affect the works being implemented, or that the conditions could endanger any individual.
-For promoting good practice of material sustainability (Reuse and/or Recycle) initiatives to reduce waste and save costs.
-For ensuring that where applicable, contractor's operatives are competent, qualified and licensed to undertake their work activities correctly and that all plant and equipment used is tested, maintained and certified as specified.
-For monitoring and recording specific or specialist deliveries to site to ensure that the condition of the load meets the standard. That the items are handled correctly, packaging is intact and that storage facilities are appropriate. Required protection is provided and correct handling techniques are applied at all times.
-For undertaking all necessary checks to ensure that installed services and equipment complies with the contract documentation
-For recording and reporting all defective materials and substandard quality/workmanship standards that do not meet the works specification/s.
-Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify project risks and devise contingency plans.
-Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
-To mentor and develop new engineers within their roles
