Summary
McGinley are currently recruiting PTS Trackmen/Operatives with Small Tools, Track Trolley, and Iron Man certifications to join our team on a project in West London. This role offers the chance to work on a 2 week trial basis with the opportunity of ongoing work for the right candidates.
Start Date: January 2025
Location: West London
White hats only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support track maintenance, renewals, and installations with attention to detail.
- Use small tools, track trolleys, and Iron Man equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct repairs, installations, and inspections under supervision.
- Work cohesively as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a high standard of site safety, operational compliance, and work quality.
Requirements:
- Valid PTS certification.
- Tickets for Small Tools, Track Trolley, and Iron Man equipment.
- Previous experience in rail track maintenance or similar work.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices in the rail industry.
- Ability to be flexible with shift work, including mid-weeks and weekends.
- Team player with a reliable and proactive work ethic.
