Your Role
Here at TfGM, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Rail Integration Lead to join our dynamic rail team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and preparatory delivery of integrating rail into the Bee Network. Specifically, managing the strategic and tactical outputs relating to core station and customer pillars associated with the Bee Network Integration Programme. Supporting both the Senior Integration Manager and Senior Rail Delivery Manager, as well as industry delivery partners with the delivery of the GM Rail Bee Network Integration programme.

Who are we?
Here at TfGM, the rail team may only be small, but we have big aspirations. We are currently working with rail industry and government partners to develop a plan to integrate rail into the Bee Network by 2028. It’s the last missing jigsaw puzzle in “enabling people to move seamlessly between services on a single, high quality, easy to use network; providing choice and supporting low-car use, made possible by integrated land-use and transport planning.
This role provides a unique opportunity to make a real difference to the thousands of residents, businesses and visitors who utilise our transport infrastructure on a daily basis.
As well as developing and delivering an ambitious programme of funded schemes you will have the opportunity to help shape future rail infrastructure proposals, working closely with our rail industry partners and other key stakeholders.

As the Bee Network Integration Lead, you will have significant experience in leading the development and delivery of rail projects and programmes of varied complexity and value and proven experience and capability in leading teams either in project delivery or management.
You will have a track record in delivering on time and in line with stakeholder requirements. You will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work under pressure and within constrained timescales. You will be able to interpret complex written and numerical data to meet funding and schedule targets.
This role will involve you leading activities to identify and implement better integration and customer service at multi modal stations and manage the investment, and operation of stations in the Greater Manchester area so stakeholder engagement both internally and externally is critical and therefore you will have strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of senior stakeholders, using a variety of forms of communication - including political, professional and public audiences.

The role is a 2-year fixed term position within an experienced and supported team working across TfGM and also rail industry partners. Salary of £53,361 - £63,438 per annum depending on skills and experience.
