Summary
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a digital marketing expert to join the Marketing Group at the University of Edinburgh Business School. The post holder will support the delivery and development of digital marketing and other marketing courses at UG and PGT levels. In addition to teaching, the post holder will advise dissertation students completing their Honours and MSc degrees and be responsible for developing new course proposals in the area of digital marketing.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Your skills and attributes for success:
PhD in Marketing/ Digital Marketing or other related area.
Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Academic Studies/ HE Fellowship.
Demonstrable ability to teach at UG and PGT levels.
Digital Marketing knowledge/ experience.
Experience in student dissertation advising.
Knowledge of marketing research methods, including quantitative research methods.
Prior experience in new course development.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience working effectively independently and in teams.
Excellent time management and organisation skills.
