Summary
To take a lead role in the day-to-day operations of the Technical Accounts section To ensure that all staff are aware of corporate governance procedures and ensure that financial information is processed accordingly Ensure that targets are met in line with financial timetables, including assisting with the preparation of Monthly Accounts and Quarterly/Annual returns To give financial support and advice to a range of staff, on a number of issues, thus facilitating effective management and financial control within the department Assist in the discussions with a number of non NHS organisations on matters affecting the Trust Assist with Vat accounting issues and providing guidance and training to other staff To manage completion of Construction Industry scheme and VAT returns Provide advice to patients and their relatives with regard to patients money and property. Please note it is a requirement of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate.The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first months pay.
