Summary
Do you enjoy being around animals?
We are a small animal Veterinary Surgery who provides a friendly, efficient, and professional service to our clients and their animals.
We are looking for someone to join our small, dedicated team in a role as Veterinary Nursing Assistant/Receptionist.
The suitable candidate will:-
Have excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
Be able to work as part of a team or on own initiative (sometimes under high pressure)
Take sole responsibility on some occasions
Be able to follow instructions and work within Data Protection rules
The role will entail:-
Answering telephone calls
Booking appointments onto computer system (accuracy to detail is paramount)
Assisting Vet/nursing staff
All aspects of animal handling
Dealing with clients face to face
Cleaning
Handling cash
And many more roles
The position is part time,(average 22.5hrs per week), between 8am & 6pm with Saturday mornings on a rota system, but there must be flexibility to cover holidays and sick leave.
Previous experience would be preferred but not necessary as full training will be given.
