Summary
The Vacancy
This is a role sits within the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) structure as part of the Data Team. This role can either be office based or home working.
The main purpose of the role will be to support the existing cleansing and compliance officer and workload manager. This involves cleansing the Single Benefit Housing Extract (SHBE data) and manage the GM350 compliance reports on a daily basis.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
• Check the Benefits new claims and change in circumstances processed on the SHBE report to ensure the received/first contact dates are correct.
• Chase up cases with officers and Team Leaders on the GM350 compliance reports which haven’t been actioned within required timescales.
• Allocate cases on the GM350 report which haven’t been immediately identified as belonging to a specific officer.
• Authorise/decline any time extension requests submitted by officers.
• Review cases on the daily high value payment report.
• Mailbox indexing
• Ensuring all NDMS trays are cleansed
• Any other tasks to support the workload manager
Essential Skills and Attributes:
• Good Benefits processing knowledge across multiple contracts
• Excellent understanding of use of ‘dates’ within new claims and change in circumstances processing
• Good understanding of the GM350 process, with confidence in decision making specifically in relation to time extension requests
• Excellent organisation and time management skills to ensure reports are maintained on a daily basis.
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of excel spreadsheets
