Summary
You must be able to demonstrate strong academic experience of course leadership, curriculum design, delivery, assessment and quality assurance of learning and teaching; you must be willing to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and demonstrate experience of postgraduate supervision. Excellent theoretic understanding of Art Psychotherapy is essential as is an understanding of current and emerging platforms and practice and social, political and economic movements and culture within the field. You will apply a flexible and collaborative approach to working and the dissemination of best practice.

MIMA School of Arts & Creative Industries is at a significant moment, established in 2019, the School builds on 50 years of Art and Design Education at Teesside University.
There may be some opportunity for remote working, which would be agreed with the line manager upon appointment in line with business requirement and the University's Hybrid working principles.
This post is available as an Academic Contract (PhD essential) to contribute to the School’s growing research activity alongside teaching, or as Teaching, Scholarship and Professional Practice contract designed to enable staff to focus their work on industry engagement alongside teaching.
