Summary
We are recruiting for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team in a specialist project management company looking after a £25 million new build hotel scheme. The company are based on the edge of the New Forest where you will be based and the scheme is in Devon and you will need to visit site weekly/fortnightly for progress meetings with the client.
The role is to manage the procurement of a number of packages as well as cost plans and management of the on site packages, You will need to check, validate and prepare presentations for the client to justify the subcontractors prices and programmes, prepare payment certificates and verify valuations and manage the variation accounts and prepare payment amounts for the client. You will also be supporting the on site delivery team to maintain quality standards and programme.
It is an immediate start for the right candidate and the role is outside IR35 and will be up to £350 a day.
