The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, innovative, flexible, and experienced AMHP to join us to support in the development of our AMHP service and work alongside our other dedicated AMHPs and AMHPs from within our CMHTs and neighbourhood teams and out of hours team, you will be highly motivated and able to provide professional practice oversight to support and develop outstanding statutory AMHP practice.

You will represent Tameside Metropolitan borough Council at many different networks locally and nationally, which means that you must be confident in working with a variety of other organisations, and with a multitude of stakeholders.

You must be a practicing warranted AMHP with experience.

Working closely with the Amhp Lead and service Manager, you will provide knowledge and experience to support to the development and delivery of our wider mental health offer, guaranteeing that our delivery is of the highest standard, in line with our statutory duties.

You will need to be an excellent assessor have the correct Legal knowledge, be an empathic and approachable practitioner, in return as we are a progressive Council delivering on national objectives, we will support and drive personal development and best performance, resulting in a positive working environment where everyone feels valued, empowered and supported.
