Job description
Vision for Education are looking to expand their support staff team working with a Primary School in Cambridge for a January 2025 start

About The Role

Working as a Learning Support Assistant you will be working with children of different abilities including SEND. You will need to be patient, kind and caring, willing to go the extra mile to help the children and young people you work with to the best of your ability. The role will start as temporary but will become permanent in September 2025 if the applicant gets on well.

About The School

This is a well established Primary school based in Cambourne who are looking to build their support staff team. They offer a warm and welcoming environment and a supportive staff team, always with the best interest of the pupils in mind.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
• To be patient and resilient
• To have previous experience working with children - this is non-negotiable - you must have at least one year's experience within the last 3 years - we must be able to get a reference for this work. It can be in another setting e.g. Nurseries, swimming teaching, dance teaching etc.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.

Salary

£425 to £500 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
• To hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to process one with us
• To have relevant training or qualifications
