We are looking for an experienced and motivational Supervisor to join our Carers Service and help us to continue to provide support to Young and Adult Carers within our communities.

With the day-to-day line management of the team, you will ensure that your team is set up for success by developing work plans, completing regular 121 meetings and identifying any trainings needs.

Working in partnership with other agencies, you will help to maintain and develop fundraising links whilst developing a model to provide early intervention and prevention support for Carers. This will include managing fundraising projects and the budgets for the team.

This role truly makes the difference as you will encourage your team to provide creative and innovative ideas that will enable Carers to manage their caring responsibilities, reduce isolation and improve health and wellbeing.

About You

A great communicator, you would have supervised a team before and be able to support individual and team wellbeing. As you will be monitoring performance, allocating work and driving productivity, you will have exceptional organisational skills.

You will have a genuine desire to support unpaid carers and have knowledge of the issues that can affect them e.g isolation, health, debt and loss of childhood etc.

Alongside this, you will know how to deliver support work and customer engagement groups.

The successful candidate will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check. Due to the nature of the role, a driving licence with access to your own car or another form of transport is required. There will also need to be flexibility to work occasional evenings.
