Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 0700 - 1600 with occasional Saturday
About Us:
We are currently seeking a Steel Process Operative to join our esteemed client at our Coventry location, the main duty will be processing of Steel using a variety of tools, ie angle grinders, shot blasters etc.
Job Description:
As a Steel Process Operative, you will undertake a variety of tasks crucial to the smooth operation of our site. Your responsibilities will include: Loading, unloading, processing, and transporting various materials on site. Conducting regular checks on metals to ensure they are safe for reuse. Supporting depot management with day-to-day requirements. Active involvement in material management from receipt, and processing, to onward movement. Recognizing and understanding the grading of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals. Performing quality control grading of materials. Utilizing a variety of tools to ensure steel meets the required standards. Ability to lift up to 25kg; handballing required. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
