Summary
Support Worker -Nights ( FEMALE PREFERRED)
We are Two Angels Limited, a supported Living Accommodation, we support those with Learning disabilities and Mental health. As a Support Worker, you will provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals who need help with their daily activities. Your primary goal will be to improve the quality of life for service users by promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being in a safe and supportive environment.
Job Requirements:
• Help manage medication according to care plans.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and dietary needs.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance the service user's well-being.
• Encourage and support the individual in engaging with community and social activities.
• Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping.
• Follow care plans and report any changes in the service user's condition to relevant healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in health and social care setting
Full Time/ Part Time role
Night Shift:
6pm-11pm working wake
£30 sleep night (11-pm- 3am)
3am-7am working wake
Skills
Empathy and compassion : A strong desire to help others and make a positive difference.
Good communication skills: Able to communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.
Patience and resilience: Able to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations.
Flexibility: Able to adapt to changing needs and work schedules.
Physical fitness: Able to perform duties that may require cleaning
Basic first aid and safeguarding knowledge is desirable.
