Summary

Job Overview
The successful candidate will join a busy operations, logistics and after sales department. Duties will include assisting and supporting the day to day running of the department, liaise with our site teams and customers. Your role as an Operations and Logistics Assistant will be supporting the Operations Manager by managing relationships with courier customer service team and account managers, booking international consignments and assist with outsourced jobs and most importantly after sales customer service in a professional manner.

Your Key Responsibilities:
To provide daily support to the Operations Manager with the following:
• Work with a daily checklists of manifests and provide POD’s to customers
• Assisting with after sales issues
• Courier Issues
• Have a strong understanding of different packing requirements for different products.
• Support the processing of returns
• Communication with team and cross-departments
• Manage relationship with courier customer service team and account managers
• Book international consignments
• Assist with managing outsourced jobs
• Have a strong understanding of different packing requirements for different products

Employment summary:
• Salary – starting salary £22,000 per annum (based on experience)
• Working Hours - Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm
• Annual Leave - 20 days per year, plus eight Bank Holidays
• Office Location - Leicester, LE4 9EX

Skills and Qualifications required
Experience:
• Logistics: 1 year (required)
• After sales customer service: 2 years (required)
