This post is full time (35 hours per week) and is fixed term to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months or until the substantive postholder returns.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Alumni Officer to join the University’s External Relations.
The post holder will be required to build communities of supporters by developing highly effective and bespoke alumni programmes and promoting relevant School and College news and events.

You will work closely will colleagues and students in the Schools and Colleges to promote the exciting benefits of alumni engagement and fundraising, strengthening alumni involvement in the areas of student recruitment, experience and employability to support key strategic goals. The post holder will provide advice and support to colleagues across the Colleges, helping to scope opportunities for alumni involvement and ensuring best practice across activities, including when recruiting and stewarding alumni volunteers, inviting alumni to events and celebrations, and issuing communications. In addition, the post holder will encourage and support Schools to run their own alumni activities that build affinity and develop networks, including sharing news on research, teaching and student developments.
