Summary
We are committed to maintaining a positive workforce culture, striving for continued job satisfaction and a healthy work life balance for our staff. We recognise the importance of flexible working and we are committed to restoring and developing our midwifery workforce. We embody the Trust Values, investing in people, valuing every employee for their unique skills and individual qualities. We are proud of our supportive local induction programme for new joiners and, of the opportunities for career progression and professional development for all staff, aspiring leaders, future managers and specialist practitioners. We are looking for compassionate and empathetic midwives who can support our workforce by delivering clinical education face-to-face and virtually to impart their knowledge and skills to those in the early stages of their careers. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a broad range of midwifery clinical experience to students, newly qualified midwives and internationally educated midwives. An active NMC registration is a requirement for this role and the candidate will be responsible for their personal development and education, including statutory, mandatory and in-service training. This is an inspirational role where the candidate will have the opportunity to transfer their skills and expertise to new midwives equipping them with the principles of good practice. The successful candidate will be able to work across the clinical areas and be able to communicate sensitive information to a variety of colleagues with differing needs. There is a responsibility of the post holder to ensure that clinical training to learners is provided using up to date evidence-based information and guidance.
