Duties
Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring their safety and well-being during outings.
Maintain control of dogs at all times, using appropriate leashes and harnesses.
Provide basic care such as feeding, administering medication, or cleaning up after the dogs as needed.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behaviour, health, and any concerns that may arise during walks.
Ensure all necessary equipment is in good condition and ready for use before each walk.
Keep accurate records of walks, including duration, distance, and any notable incidents or observations.
Skills
Strong customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners and address their needs effectively.
Knowledge of veterinary care is beneficial for identifying any health issues or concerns during walks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as assisting larger dogs or transporting equipment.
Experience in animal care to ensure the safety and comfort of the dogs under your supervision.
