Experienced Support Workers required for a dedicated supported living home in Derby.
The home provides personalised care plans for each resident so you will be able to understand what their likes and dislikes are from the get-go.
You will be supporting young people from the age of 16, helping them learn the necessary life skills to be able to live independently, due to the service users previous experience the role requires a calm and patient person to help them overcome their past and have a brighter future.
Within this role, you will be helping the service users with everyday tasks such as;
- Helping with the cooking,
- Home care and domestic duties
- Personal care and outdoor activities.

To demonstration you experience and suitability for the role of Support Worker you will need:
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
- Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
- A Referenceable work history
- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate
You will be working either:
09:00 to 19:00 or
19:00 to 09:00
Rate of pay for this role is £12.00 per hour
