Summary
4 x Tenancy Support Worker – Hwb Hillgrove, Bangor, Gwynedd
Salary scale £23,530.52 - £24,319.36 (point 20 to 21)
37 hours per week (part time of 18.5 would be considered)
(working to a rota to ensure 24-hour staff cover including waking nights, weekends, bank holidays etc)
We are looking to recruit 4 Tenancy Support Workers who are experienced in providing tenancy related support to those who have experienced homelessness or are at risk of homelessness, impacted by adverse childhood experiences, often with complex support needs.
You will be a resilient support worker, a team player, able to deliver a high-quality service that helps young people recognise their own strengths, develop independent living skills, and move away from homelessness for good.
You will need to adopt a flexible approach to working, covering various shifts to ensure 24-hour staff cover. Some shifts will require you to lone work.
The post holder will be required to have:
• Experience of proving person centred supporting to those affected by homelessness, with complex support needs.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Ability to manage a complex case load.
• Having empathy and understanding of the needs of those affected by homelessness and an understanding of the impact of s Adverse Childhood Experiences.
• Good level of I.T skills
• Have a flexible approach to working hours, covering the project rota including waking nights, evenings, weekends etc. to meet the needs of service users living at the project.
