Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community CAMHS South or North Team as a Trainee Children's Wellbeing Practitioner. The Children and Young Peoples Improving Access to Psychological Therapies programme (CYP IAPT) is a service transformation programme delivered by Health Education England (and partners) which aims to improve existing children and young peoples mental health Services (CYP MHS) working in the community. Please see attached Job description for further details of the role. The post-holder will work a trainee as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering, high-quality; brief outcome focused evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild tomoderate mental health difficulties including anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties. The post-holder will work with children, Young People and Families with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary. The post-holder will also oversee elements of participation. This includes engaging all service users in various ways to gain feedback, participate in shaping services and running appropriate participationgroups within the services. The post holder will be required to be creative, flexible, adaptable, professional and motivated in all aspects of their role, both in clinical delivery and within the development of the service provision.Where appropriate to provide support for the work of other members of the multidisciplinary team and signpost children, young people and families to appropriate support. To work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team to enhance the mental and emotional well-being of children and young people within Nottinghamshire.
