Pat Willis Telecoms is excited to announce that we are actively seeking an area manager for the service delivery department. The position will cover the UK.

Working Hours between 8:00 am- 8:00 pm (Monday- Friday)

As the Area Manager, you will be responsible for a team of engineers, providing leadership, support, direction, and feedback for their roles. You will also manage the local area, ensuring Service Delivery targets are achieved.
Your role will include:
• Manage the team within budget constraints, seeking every opportunity to reduce cost and maximise bottom-line revenue growth.
• Ensure all team members are skilled, kitted and accredited to the standards expected by the client.
• Manages team members' performance and continuous improvement through development, recognition, effective communications, field visits and FPQ checks.
• Ensures that each team member is aware of the team and its targets and is committed to contributing to their achievement.
Technical Expertise & Service Delivery
• Identifies opportunities for multi-skilling and cross-project work on the patch to help deliver the most efficient and effective field structure.
• Seeks every opportunity to reduce cost and maximise bottom-line revenue growth.
• Ensures safety and quality checks are carried out by Pat Willis policy.
Internal/ External Partnerships
• Develops and sustains a strong working relationship with the client’s local operational teams, encouraging collaboration and best practices.
• Works closely with the Operational Support Teams to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• Attends operational review meetings with clients and General Managers as required.
Experience
• Managerial experience in a similar role (Telecoms & Hybrid Energy industry)
• Holding a driving license
• Telecoms background
• Computer literate
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Willing to Undertake relevant training and development
Desirables:
• Managerial/supervisor experience
• Understanding of the Fibre & Hybrid network
