Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking for an exciting new challenge? We are currently seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join a reputable housing association for a 3-month contract. This role will focus on managing reactive repairs and void properties, ensuring that the housing stock is maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys and assessments of residential properties to identify maintenance needs.
- Manage and oversee reactive repairs, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Assess void properties and recommend necessary works to bring them back into occupancy.
- Liaise with contractors, stakeholders, and residents to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of inspections and works completed.
Requirements:
- Relevant building surveying qualification (degree or equivalent).
- Proven experience in building surveying, particularly in the housing sector.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations and health and safety legislation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
