Summary
SkyBlue is currently seeking an experienced Planner to join a client working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities of a Planner, however not limited to:
- Craft and manage detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project, keeping everything on track with key milestones and project goals.
- Work closely with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timelines, resources, and objectives are all aligned for a smooth workflow.
- Keep a close eye on project progress, spot potential delays early, and use critical path analysis to keep things on schedule.
- Strategically allocate resources like manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project needs efficiently.
- Identify risks before they become roadblocks and develop strategies to minimize their impact on the project timeline.
- Act as the glue that holds different teams together, avoiding overlaps or conflicts and ensuring every part of the project fits seamlessly.
- Prepare regular updates and clear, actionable dashboards for stakeholders. When things go off course, suggest recovery plans or adjustments to steer the project back on track.
To be successful a Planner will need to posses the following:
- Proven experience in civil infrastructure project planning.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6/MS Project.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
