Summary
JOB TITLE: INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINIST
RESPONSIBLE TO: PRODUCTION MANAGER
JOB PURPOSE: To sew heavy duty cloth and leather for automotive seating
What's on offer:
• Days of work: Monday to Friday
• Hours of work : 08:00 - 17:00, Early finish on Fridays
• Salary: £11.44ph - £13.50ph depending on experience
• Potential to go permanent after 6 months

• Previous industrial sewing machine experience
• Ability to work a physically demanding job
• Able to follow written instructions accurately

• Own transport essential due to location
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To produce high quality products that meet specifications, both as a part of a team and independently.
• To achieve all individual performance standards as agreed.
• Follow works instructions to ensure accuracy on specifications.
• Quality inspect sewn products.
• Minimise and control all waste.
• Carry out daily pre-use machines checks and maintenance.
In addition to the above duties and responsibilities, the job holder is required to perform any other duty requested by Management from time to time
