Summary

Operational Oversee projects defined by the organisation, engaging key stakeholders to drive delivery and achieve objectives. Support day-to-day activities, driving business initiatives and demonstrating value for money. Identify and share best practices, troubleshooting issues, and providing effective solutions as needed. Work collaboratively with departments such as Quality and Assurance, HR, Finance, Corporate Governance, and Contract Compliance to support the delivery of projects. Assist GP practices in implementing and reviewing National Changes affecting service delivery, ensuring smooth adaptation and compliance. Support the preparation, writing, and development of contract reports, collecting and analysing data, and ensuring findings are shared internally for informed decision-making. Provide evidence and data to support service or financial bids, enhancing competitiveness and alignment with organisational goals. Assist practices and services in meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by offering tailored advice and identifying areas for improvement. Work with practices to optimise claims and searches, ensuring the organisation maximises potential income. Project Management Lead project delivery, allocating tasks, managing risks, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Develop comprehensive project plans that minimise disruptions and ensure smooth transitions. Maintain high standards in project delivery, meeting quality and cost expectations. Advocate for projects at senior and executive levels, ensuring active engagement and alignment. Manage project flexibility to accommodate conflicting or changing requirements. Oversee the handover of completed projects to ensure ownership and operational integration. Report and present project plans and progress to subcommittees/board as required. Financial and Physical Resources Ensure compliance with Standing Orders and Standing Financial Instructions. Support the Head of Primary Care and Urgent Treatment Services in developing and setting the budgets for primary care and continue to support in the monitoring and cost improvement plans. Monitor and adhere to budgets, providing documentation for scrutiny and preparing strategic reports. Offer recommendations and advice to guide financial decisions effectively. Communication Develop and maintain strong communication channels across Invicta Health and with external organisations. Respond promptly to communications from ICBs, NHSE, and other third parties. Address inter-dependencies with other teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration. Deputise when required, broadening skills and professional development. Line Management Support recruitment and retention processes, including interviews and induction. Mentor and supervise staff, ensuring required training and professional growth. Monitor staffing levels, skill mix, and adherence to budgets. Conduct staff 1:1 meetings, appraisals, and manage probationary reviews. Address performance issues, liaising with HR as needed, and promote organisational values. Information Management and Technology Encourage staff in the use of IT systems, overseeing training and ensuring compliance with data governance requirements. Ensure robust IT security, backup, and disaster recovery plans are in place. Prepare reports, summarise progress, and analyse data to support decision-making and develop business cases.
