Summary
Summary
C & S Church of Zion (Imole) UK is looking for four dedicated, full-time Sunday School Pastors to join our ministry. The successful candidates will play a key role in nurturing the spiritual growth of children and young adults, leading evangelism efforts within the UK and internationally, and contributing to the overall mission of the church.
Job Requirements
A calling and passion for Christian ministry and the spiritual development of children and young adults.
Degree or diploma in Theology, Ministry, Education, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in children’s ministry, education, or pastoral roles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with children, parents, and team members.
Ability to develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
Commitment to the doctrinal teachings and practices of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church of Zion.
Knowledge of safeguarding practices and child protection regulations (training can be provided).
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teach Bible-based lessons to children and young adults, emphasizing faith, values, and Christian living.
Develop and implement engaging Sunday School curriculums tailored to different age groups.
Organize and lead weekly classes, activities, and events to foster spiritual growth and community.
Provide pastoral care, mentorship, and guidance to children, parents, and volunteers.
Coordinate with church leadership and other ministries for seamless integration of Sunday School programs.
Train and supervise volunteer teachers, ensuring adherence to the church’s mission and values.
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all Sunday School participants.
Prepare monthly reports on attendance, activities, and program outcomes for church leadership.
Actively participate in church meetings, events, and worship services.
Skills/Experiences
Essential:
Experience in Christian teaching or mentoring.
Understanding of the Bible and ability to teach scripture effectively.
Ability to manage and inspire volunteer teams.
Desirable:
Familiarity with the traditions of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church.
Basic administrative and IT skills for program coordination and reporting.
