Vacancy – Quality Inspector
ESS Employment Ltd are looking to employ a Quality Inspector to work with one of our clients in an Engineering environment.
To maintain and monitor quality assurance and quality control activities, reporting the effectiveness of the system to Senior Management.
Duties for the role:
• Ensure company quality systems are adhered to
• Assist the Quality Manager in maintaining the Quality Systems of the company and identify trends of non-conformances, performing audits and supplier assessments
• Preparation and review of Non-conformance reports, FAIRS, DARs, Concessions, Waivers and Final Inspection Reports
• Create and maintain calibration records within the IFS ERP system
• Create product passports and quality instructions
• Oversee the inspection staff
• Verify traceability of components
• Monitor route records
• Visually inspect components on site but occasionally throughout the UK
• Perform final inspection on items leaving the factory, including completion and verification of route records
The successful candidate:
• Understanding of engineering production requirements
• Working to ISO9001:2015
• CMM and Faro arm experience is essential
• Non-conformance reports/actioning
• Understanding of Gauge R & R
• Experience of IFS (ERP) or similar
• Understanding of FMEA and PFMEA
