Summary
To be responsible for the day-to-day management of all staff within the Pathology Stores and Logistics service. Responsible for all pathology requisitions, orders and GRNs ensuring they are dealt with promptly in accordance with the Trusts standing finance instructions. To liaise with NHS supplies, Procurement team and General Managers to ensure the most effective, efficient, and economic orders are placed. To manage stock, ensuring appropriate levels are maintained to feed the laboratories and hold in a secure environment. Responsible for the departmental budget. To be responsible for managing the GP transport service on a day-to-day basis, ensuring GPs throughout Leicestershire receive a daily collection of patients samples, delivery of patients reports and receive sufficient consumable supplies.
