Summary

CLASSROOM ASSISTANTS
(TERM TIME STAFF)
Fixed Term Contract to June 2025


We are seeking dedicated staff to join our team, providing essential in-class support, one-to-one assistance, and aiding with exams and assessments. Your role will include note taking, reading and proof reading, prompting, escorting students to classes, assisting with study skills and acting as a reader, scribe, and invigilator, ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed. Successful candidates will be part of a bank of Classroom Assistants.

You will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong planning and organisational skills. You will have the ability to deal with sensitive, emotive and contentious issues in a variety of settings. Educated to SCQF level 7 or equivalent with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential. Experience of working with students with disabilities and/or additional support needs is desirable.

Salary: £15.58 Per Hour
Contract end date: June 2025
Location: Cross Campus. You may be required to travel and work within all Glasgow Clyde campuses.
