We are currently recruiting for a Laundry Logistics Operative responsible for the day-to-day packing, sorting and delivery or clean laundry for our Mitie client base in Dudley. This position calls for an organised team player, committed to achieving the highest standard of work within a busy healthcare environment.
You should be able to coordinate and have the ability to take responsibility for work. You should also be capable of working in a fast-paced environment following health and safety regulations whilst staying compliant. You will be able to work with machinery such as commercial washers and dryers to launder items, be able to follow Manual Handling policies and to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ideally, you will have a background in working in a facilities environment or within linen and laundry services as well as having a strong knowledge of numbers by maintaining a high level of accuracy. Please note we are looking for bank laundry operatives, on a zero hour contract but potential to work up to 28 hours per week. They should also be able to work flexibly throughout the week.
