Summary

Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster

You will be responsible for the instruction of military students in essay writing and marking of engineering foundation degree level essays. You will provide feedback, both written & verbal, on the content of their essays.

This is a term time only role with 2 weeks holiday at Christmas and Eater and 4 weeks in August

When not delivering training there is the option of some remote working

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering training on how to write essays at degree level with Engineering as the subject
• Teaching classes of up to 14 students
• Marking of essays and providing feedback
• Supporting students
• Working collaboratively with Learning & Development, the Training Delivery staff to identify and support a personalised approach to learning and development

What we're looking for:

• Engineering degree of Equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Results oriented with ability to support improvements across learning programmes
• Military experience is desirable, but not essential
• Ability to work with Mid-level stakeholders
• Experience within training delivery would be an advantage
• Must be able to be cleared to UK SC level

About Selborne

Selborne is a wide scale, 12 year transformation of Royal Navy Training. The contract worth GBP 1 billion was awarded in December 2020 to a consortium led by Capita to deliver and modernise training for the RN.
