Summary

We at The Hive London are seeking dedicated and proactive Gym Assistants able to start immediately to support our customers at The Hive in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients. This role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, enhancing customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our organisation.

Responsibilities

Greeting and assisting members with inquiries about gym facilities, equipment usage, and general fitness guidance.
Offering friendly and professional customer service to enhance member experience.
Ensuring the gym floor is clean, tidy, and well-organized, including regular checks on equipment functionality.
Reporting and addressing any equipment faults or hazards promptly.
Monitoring the gym floor to ensure all safety protocols are adhered to.
Providing immediate assistance in case of accidents or emergencies, including basic first aid if trained.
Actively promote gym events, programs, and special offers.
Attend all mandatory in-services and trainings

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of gym equipment and fitness principles (training provided if needed).
A proactive and approachable attitude.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Experience in a gym environment is a plus.
CPR or First Aid certification (preferred but not required).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
