Summary
We are currently requiring 4 x Labourers to join a project in Portland, Dorset area.
Details
General labouring duties on site, transferring metals & materials on to lorry.
Expected/Standard hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
Duration - 2 - 3 Weeks
Duties
Assist in the loading and unloading of metals, materials and equipment.
Perform general site maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team efforts in completing projects on time.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, reporting any hazards or incidents immediately.
Assist skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed, providing support where required.
Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 25 kg).
Basic knowledge of health and safety practices on construction sites or similar environments.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as necessary.
A valid driver's licence is preferred but not mandatory.
