About the Role:
As an Automotive Mechanic/Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that all vehicles are in optimal condition and that customers receive reliable, high-quality service. This is a hands-on role where you will use your mechanical skills to carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on all makes and models of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical faults on cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake checks, and tyre replacements.
  • Conduct vehicle diagnostics using modern diagnostic equipment and technology.
  • Carry out engine repairs, suspension work, exhaust replacements, and other mechanical services.
  • Provide clear, professional advice to customers on vehicle issues, repairs, and maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including parts used, labour time, and any diagnostic findings.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Keep the workshop clean and organized, ensuring that all tools and equipment are maintained and used correctly.

Ideally, You Will Have:

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic/Technician (minimum of 2 years).
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
  • Experience using modern diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • A good understanding of electrical systems in vehicles.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude towards customers.
