We are looking for a Locum Sports Rehabilitation Therapist to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at Pirbright Medical Centre, in Woking, Surrey.
Hours:
• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday - Thursday: 8 AM to 5 PM
• Friday: 8 AM to 12 PM
Pay: Up to £25.65 per hour
Essential Requirements:
• BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation or JESSRI qualification
• OR BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy with full membership of the Society of Sports Therapy (SST)
• Membership of the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BaSRaT) or SST.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) sports injuries
About the Role: This position involves working within the Armed Forces' rehabilitation system. However, the focus is on sports injuries and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assessing and diagnosing sports injuries
• Developing and implementing treatment plans
• Providing rehabilitation and exercise therapy
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals
• Supporting patients' return to duty or civilian life
