Principal Teacher of Music

Kirkwall Grammar School is a modern, vibrant school of over 800 pupils with a catchment area which covers Kirkwall, the East Mainland, Orphir and the North Isles.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher/leader who is committed to improvement and excellence. You will be joining departments and other teams of staff who are dedicated to providing the best for all our young people. Our school has a wide range of extra-curricular activities on offer including drama, music, and sport.

You will be able to teach all aspects of the subject across all stages. You will be joining a highly successful team, in a recently built and well-resourced school.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children.
