Summary

With a commitment to both system and organisational excellence, you will build on optimizing the current Oracle Cerner Millenium Electronic Patient Record & related systems, working in partnership with organisational & clinical leadership teams, delivering a new Digital Strategy which is aligned to the Trust's overall strategy & priorities. Recognizing the impact of clinical expertise and aligning our digital work with our core business of healthcare delivery we are seeking a Deputy CIO that has clinical experience with current clinical credentials. As DCIO you will be the expert lead for the evolution of clinical & business information processes, ensuring high-quality provision and support for business-critical systems across the Trust. You will be comfortable working with a range of stakeholders across the Trust, and the wider regional health and social care economy. As a progressive thinker and creative disrupter, focused on the need to deliver benefits to patients, the public, and care professionals, you will work cohesively & collaboratively with the Clinical Boards and Executive teams across the Trust to generate innovative digital solutions to support clinical processes, improving both staff & patient experience. You will be a strategic thinking so we can continue to modernise and improve our digital services, but also be able to execute change and get the job done. The Deputy CIO will report directly to the Chief Information Officer and should have extensive digital and operational management experience in a healthcare environment, including leading staff and have familiarity of Oracle Health (Cerner) solutions.
