Summary
CNC Turner Setter/ Operator
We are working with our highly established engineering client who specialise in the manufacture of food production machinery. Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator to join our growing team. The suitable candidate will be capable of setting up and running machining centres to produce quality parts to specification, checking their own work using a variety of measuring equipment.
Hours: Monday-Friday - 7:30am-4pm
Rate: £15 - £18ph
Key Responsibilities:
• Ability to set and operate a CNC Turning machine.
• Interpreting technical drawings to produce parts to the drawing specification.
• Where necessary running multiple Turning machines when on running jobs.
• Working on small batches of high-quality parts with a right first-time attitude.
• Able and willing to look at processes to improve productivity where possible to accelerate output within the company.
About You:
• Experience in setting and operating CNC Turning machines
• Working on Fanuc based controls
• Reading and interpreting drawings
• Self-inspecting work
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent time management
• Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved
