Are you looking to join a company where training and development is encouraged? Then this is the career for you. We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Supervisor to join our highly successful client in the Long Eaton area of Nottingham.
About the Client:
Our Client is a well established, high quality cable assembly manufacturer based in Long Eaton. They manufactures a broad range of cable assemblies being supplied into a wide array of industries from sub sea exploration to motorsport.
Job Role:
The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for leading a small team of quality inspectors. The quality control department is responsible for the inspection and testing of all product manufactured on site.
Pay and Benefits:
• Working Monday - Friday on a 40 hour working week.

Responsibilities:
• Inspection and testing of all product manufactured on site
• Manage a small team of quality inspectors
• Visual inspection
• Reading of complex technical drawings and schematics
• Knowledge of measurement techniques
Qualifications / Experience:
• Quality Assurance (2 years)
• Hold certification to IPC620
• IPC Certification (preferred)
• Leadership Experience
• Management of a small team
• Knowledge of process validation/improvement techniques
The ideal candidate will have a background within the cable assembly industry and hold certification to IPC620. Candidates who have a wealth of experience within complex cable assembly with less quality experience who are looking to move into a quality role will also be considered.
