Summary
We are looking to take on an experienced ALN Teaching Assistant. The successful ALN Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to work in an inclusive ALN Provision in Ebbw Vale, with staff who are committed to ensuring the best interest of the students, and making positive impacts in their learning and development.
As an ALN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the Teacher to deliver engaging lessons, tailoring learning to their needs, supporting students 1-2-1 with general and day-to-day tasks. You will be working with students with a number of additional needs, such as Autism, ADHD, and PMLD, and will need to be familiar with the use and implementation of IEP's.
Our successful ALN Teaching Assistant will:
• Have strong behavioural management skills/experience with challenging behaviours
• Have relevant qualifications or training related to the role (desirable)
• Have experience in assisting with and promoting Independent Living Skills
