Summary
On behalf of our client, we have an exciting and immediate and permanent opportunity for a Welding/Fabrication Supervisor. Key responsibilities/duties:
• Ensuring strict adherence to all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures
• Scheduling and coordinating production priorities., within the department but also with other departments.
• Coordinating with team Leaders to ensure effective supervision of staff in a busy welding/fabrication department.
• Driving forward quality and production improvement initiatives
• Monitoring and reporting production efficiencies
• Staff timekeeping and attendance monitoring/reporting
• Participation in staff training and development initiatives
Experience required:
• A strongproven supervisory background, ideally gained in the welding/fabrication sector is essential.
• Excellent communication and people management skills
• Ability to motivate and drive forward improvements.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities
