Summary
*IMMEDIATE START*
The Best Connection are currently seeking a Van Driver for a role based in Leyland. The successful candidate will possess a valid Cat B Licence and must have relevant multi-drop experience.
Responsibilities of the Van Driver:
Loading and unloading your van, making deliveries, product pick up, etc.
Delivering medical equipment to businesses such as hospitals and care homes - The right candidate will need to be comfortable with heavy handball as some equipment can be up to 40KG (You will be given the right tools to move this equipment)
Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely. Interact with site and others on a daily basis to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home.
Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
It is imperative, that as you are representing ourselves, our established client in Leyland and making deliveries to residents, that you always present yourself in a mature and professional manner.
Requirements of the Van Driver:
Cat B Licence
Relevant multi-drop experience
Hi-Vis and Safety boots
Verifiable references
Your own DBS is desirable but not essential
Be able to work full time, 0800 start. Approx 1700 finish.
Pay rates:
£12.00 Per Hour
O/T After 8 hours
Monday to Friday
You will always be paid a minimum of 8 hours per day should your shift finish early.
