Summary
Our client, a long established company based in Swinton are looking to recruit a Legal Cashier to join them on a permanent basis working part time hours. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal Cashier to join a friendly practice and work closely with the Senior Cashier. This role is offered on a part time basis and the client are flexible on hours / days.
The Role:
The main duties of this Legal Cashier role will include:
Full participation in the day-to-day activities of the office cashiers team
Preparing payments on behalf of the firm
Posting of disbursement recharges including supplier uploads and third-party invoices
Disbursement reconciliations
Posting credits received
Helping to ensure fee earners and other support staff comply with the firm’s internal cashiering regulations and SAR
Dealing with internal and external queries
Various ad hoc cashiering queries
Liaising with auditors and banks
All associated duties
The Candidate
The successful candidate for this Legal Cashier role will possess:
Previous relevant experience in a similar accounts based role
Looking for part time hours (1 day MUST be a Friday)
Have knowledge and experience of MS Office and other accounts software
Be able to work independently when required
Be organised and methodical
Have strong administration skills
The Package
This Legal Cashier role is offered with the following:
Salary: £25,000 per annum pro rata
Hours: Part time hours offered up to 4 days per week. Could consider part of every day or full days
Holidays: 4 weeks holiday (plus Christmas shut down) plus all Bank Holidays
