Summary
The Best Connection Group are seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to work at one of our valued clients in East Hull.
The successful candidate will be working on a Monday to Friday, 3 week rotation basis:
Week 1: 6am-2.15pm
Week 2: 10pm-6.15am
Week 3: 2pm-10.15pm
Must have Reach Truck and Counterbalance Forklift Licences
(PPT & PPT Stacker Truck certificate would be advantageous)
Overview:
The Warehouse Team Leader support the Logistics Supervisor in the day-to-day running of the companies logistics and warehousing function, in a hands on Team Leader capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
The delegation of tasks to ensure accurate and timely completion
Assist and lead the other operators in the flow of materials (product, paperwork, equipment) within the warehouse function
To be aware of your own Health & Safety responsibilities and also be the H&S Lead whilst on shift
To work unsupervised and to supervise others
Support and lead the operators with stock/picking issues
Be the shift lead in forklift safety, inspection books, reporting forklift faults and ensuring all trucks are charged
Ensure the timely and effective completion of all requisitions and the delegation of tasks when required

- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
