Summary
The Phlebotomy team requires additional staff members to support the existing team in their multi departmental service delivery, across seven days including public holidays. Duties will include blood sampling for patients on all acute wards, medical, surgical and high risk infection departments. Also providing a service to the very busy and demanding blood sampling room, for patients attending clinics of varying specialities. NICU, fistula and vascular training will also be provided.Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred but all applicants will be considered. This position will commence at Band 2, progressing to Band 3 after a minimum period of 6 months and on successful completion of further training and competencies Successful candidates will receive full up to date training and take a practical assessment to assess skill level.
