Summary


The post holder is primarily responsible for:

• Carrying out a variety of professional porter and postal deliveryservicesin a responsive and proactive manneronbehalf of QTS,including throughout the portfolio of CentralNorth WestLondon Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust sites.

• Organising their daily workload to complete the tasks in the given priorities, whilst meeting all quality standardsand compliance requirements.

• Ensuring confidentiality at all times, only releasing information obtained during employment,to those acting in an officialcapacityor within the parameters of QTS PeoplePolicies.


QTSoperates asawholly ownedsubsidiaryof Central andNorthWestLondon NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL).Established in 2018,QTSprovidesa broad range of Estates and Facilitiesservices,spanning strategic operational delivery through toestates maintenance and repairs,primarily withinmental health and communityhealthcare settings.

Operational

• Providing a responsive, flexible porter and delivery servicewhichmaintainsthe professional reputation of QTS.

• Carryingoutplanned and urgent porter / post and delivery services, as well as any other work as assigned by the Logistics Officer.

• Efficiently route planningof multipledeliveries to various locations to ensure the provision ofa timelyandcost-effectiveservice.

• Assistingwiththe delivery of stock / consumables to Trust departments as and whenrequired.

• Assistingwithoffice moves, collectingand either disposing of orstoringasappropriate, surplus/obsolete furniture or equipment and general rubbish.

• Receiving,collectingortransportingsupplies, stores and equipment as required.

• Carryingout duties without the need for direct supervision.
