Description
I am currently seeking a personal assistant, to support myself to help me live an independent life. You will be performing personal care, domestic duties around the house including but not limited to, doing the laundry, hoovering, dusting, cleaning the bathroom, cooking and any other domestic tasks that need to be done.
My staff work a rota system with no set working days which changes month to month so there is no set working days or patterns. The working hours for this role would be 9am to 6pm and you must be available to work any day of the week. You would also need to be available to come into work at short notice to cover other staff unplanned absence.
These are some of the duties you would need to perform when on shift:
● Administration of medication
● Assistance with getting dressed
● Cooking and Feeding
● Assistance mobilizing. I require help to walk around the house and If I leave the house, I use a wheelchair.
● Assistance with bathing and shaving
● Assistance getting out and about.
● General housework, hoovering, dusting, laundry and ironing etc etc .
● General conversation
● Feed and walk dog, a small female Jack Russell
Requirements
● Clean driving license essential
● DBS Check will be required.
● The knowledge of how to cook fresh meals as well as packaged products is essential
● Flexibility around your availability to work is essential.
