Summary

It's an exciting time to join the Targeted Youth Support Service and our award-winning Shared Tenancy Scheme in Hull. We are seeking to recruit a Shared Accommodation Officer to provide both access and ongoing support to young people in city wide locations including both those leaving care and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. The scheme forms a key component of wider pathways approaches to the prevention of homelessness for young people and those leaving care.
The post holder will have excellent interpersonal skills with empathy and the ability to work in an empowering and enabling way with young people to build and maintain positive relationships. Experience of working with young people in the housing / homelessness sector are essential as well as a good knowledge of housing and wider support services.
