The role involves coordinating, planning, and tracking all technical activities related to the PPM maintenance planning system for both planned and corrective maintenance, ensuring timely completion of tasks and preventing overdue events. Key responsibilities include meeting with suppliers, ensuring that 3rd party contractors provide the necessary safety documentation (SSOW, risk assessments, method statements, and competency certificates) prior to work commencing, and raising Purchase Orders for suppliers. The position also requires collaboration with the Mitie site Finance Lead to close chargeable work orders and maintain an organized filing system for supplier records, including qualifications, maintenance reports, and Legionella L8 compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the contractor training matrix and ensuring all contractors are up-to-date with their training, as well as maintaining the Mitie technical equipment register. Additionally, the role involves providing feedback to technical supervisors and managers on supplier breakdowns and progress, which will be communicated to the customer. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of statutory requirements in technical environments, experience in regulated industries, and a proven track record in high-pressure, fast-paced settings. Strong planning, organizational, and risk management skills are essential, along with proficiency in CAFM systems (e.g., MERP, SAP, Maximo) and advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Power BI. The role demands a highly focused individual who drives performance and ensures high standards of service.
